Villa Chelay is a four-bedroom hillside villa in the Jomchang Estate on Kamala's Millionaire's Mile, set in 7,380 square metres of forested grounds with the sea below. The timber interiors give it the feel of a very well-appointed cabin rather than a glass box, and every bedroom has a king bed, an ensuite with a bathtub and rain shower, and a balcony facing the Andaman. The master is 60 square metres with a walk-in wardrobe; the three guest rooms are 45 square metres each with sitting areas.
The pool terrace has a 15-metre infinity pool, a barbecue dining area and a table tennis table, and there is a path down to the sea. Inside, an entertainment room with foosball and a spa room with two massage beds and yoga mats cover the rainy afternoons. Four staff including a private chef are included. This is a good choice for two families or a group of four couples who want privacy and a sense of being in the trees, while Kamala and Patong are about eight minutes away by car.
