Villa Horizon sits on the sea front of Kamala's Millionaire's Mile, with Hua Beach a minute's walk away and sunset views across the Andaman from the pool terrace. It is a Thai-style villa in the traditional sense, with tiered roofs, natural timber inside and full-height glass walls on the sea side, set on 1,700 square metres of land with about 1,300 square metres of living space. Six bedrooms are spread over the property: two master suites with walk-in wardrobes, balconies and large outdoor jacuzzis, and four guest rooms, two of which share a bathroom and connect to the first master, which suits families with younger children.
The 15-metre infinity pool is the centre of the day, but there is a lot indoors too: a media room with a 75-inch screen, a games room with a pool table and wine cellar, a spa room and a gym. Four staff including a private chef come with the villa, and a continental or Asian breakfast is included each morning. Kamala's restaurants are three minutes away by car and Patong's Jungceylon shopping centre about fifteen. The villa can be booked as a 4, 5 or 6-bedroom property, so the rate drops when a smaller group does not need every room.
