Villa Aye is one of the larger houses on Kamala's Millionaire's Mile: 2,500 square metres over three levels inside the gated Cape Amarin community, with eight ensuite bedrooms and a 22-metre infinity pool that looks out over the Andaman Sea. Two master suites of 75 square metres each have their own living areas, walk-in wardrobes and balconies; the six guest rooms range from 30 to 60 square metres, and two of them can be set up with twin beds. A lift serves every floor, so the villa works for grandparents and anyone with limited mobility, which is rare for a hillside property.
The entertainment level has a bar, pool table and large screen, with a fitness room, table tennis and a small library alongside. Outside there is a wide lawn next to the pool and a shallow children's pool. Five staff including a private chef are on hand, and a back-up generator keeps everything running if the estate power drops. Kamala and Patong beaches are about ten minutes by car. The villa is sold as 6, 7 or 8 bedrooms, so smaller groups pay a lower rate and simply close off the unused rooms.
