About Nai Thon
Nai Thon is a quiet corner of Phuket's north-west coast, part of Sirinat National Park and well away from busier beaches like Patong or Bang Tao. It is a short stretch of sand surrounded by forest, with the Trisara resort and a small beach road. It has the feel of a village rather than a resort strip. It suits people who want a relaxed life without giving up airport convenience: the airport is around 8 km away by road (around 15-25 mins depending on traffic).
Day to day, Nai Thon is a place you drive from. The beach road has a few small convenience shops, but for a full supermarket the nearest is Big C Sakhu, around 10 mins away, with more cafes and everyday services on the Nai Yang strip. Boat Avenue and the Bang Tao side are around 15-20 mins south. There is no international school in Nai Thon: UWC Thailand and Glenalmond are around 20 mins away, and the Cherngtalay campus of HeadStart is around 15-20 mins. For fine dining, PRU at Trisara is around 5 mins away.
